Football Battle (“the App”) is a mobile football quiz game developed by Dmytro Prokopenko (“Developer”, “we”, “us”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use the App.

  • Display advertisements to free-tier users (via Google AdMob)
  • Translate game content (via DeepL)

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy governing the data they process:

  • Firebase Cloud Messaging — push notifications
  • Google Sign-In / Apple Sign-In — authentication

5. Data Storage & Security

We take the security of your data seriously and implement the following measures:

  • Passwords are hashed using bcrypt
  • Authentication relies on JWT tokens
  • Refresh tokens are hashed with SHA-256
  • All data is transmitted over HTTPS

6. Data Retention & Deletion

  • Account data is retained until you delete your account
  • You can delete your account directly from the App at any time; this triggers a cascading delete of all associated data

7. Children's Privacy

Football Battle is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will promptly delete that information.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Update your personal information within the App
  • Delete your account and all associated data at any time
  • Opt out of push notifications through your device settings

9. No Location Data

Football Battle does not collect GPS coordinates or any other form of location data.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify users through the App or other appropriate means. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
